Radiance Face Cream is a conceptual packaging design project for Allura Cosmetics, exploring the cosmetic carton as a canvas for nature, an object conceived not simply to contain a product, but to express a moment of connection, beauty and quiet renewal.

At the heart of the composition, two birds facing one another evoke connection and harmony, while the surrounding blossoms suggest renewal, delicacy and the cyclical nature of life. Together, these elements establish a visual narrative that translates Allura’s nature-led identity into a more intimate expression of beauty and care.

DESIGN SOLUTION

The packaging was developed around the relationship between illustration and structure, treating the carton as a continuous three-dimensional canvas.

Botanical branches extend across the carton’s surfaces, connecting its different faces while framing the essential product information. The two birds form the central visual focus, anchoring the composition and introducing a sense of intimacy within the wider botanical landscape. As the carton is viewed from different angles, the illustration continues across its edges, revealing new details and perspectives.

A deep emerald-green palette provides a rich yet restrained foundation for the artwork. Expressive, brush-like strokes introduce depth, movement and an organic sense of rhythm, contrasting with the more precisely rendered birds and blossoms.

The typographic treatment is intentionally minimal, establishing a clear hierarchy without interrupting the illustrated narrative. Refined gold accents bring subtle luminosity to the composition, while the controlled relationship between typography, colour and imagery creates a balance between visual richness and understated elegance.

Every element is considered in relation to the carton’s physical form, allowing the packaging structure and its illustrated surface to function as one cohesive visual experience.

RESULT

The resulting design transforms the cosmetic carton into an illustrated object in which packaging and storytelling become inseparable.

Rather than using nature as a conventional decorative motif, the design allows the botanical landscape to unfold across the carton’s architecture, creating continuity, visual depth and a sense of discovery.

Radiance Face Cream extends Allura’s visual identity through a distinctive packaging expression that brings together fine illustration, considered composition and refined restraint, turning the cosmetic carton into an object of visual storytelling.
