Caiaffa Myria: Where Biodiversity Becomes Identity.
Named after Myriapoda, the arthropod group that includes centipedes, Myria is a wine collection inspired by the biodiversity surrounding the Caiaffa vineyards in southern Italy. Created for a winery committed to organic farming, the identity reflects the relationship between viticulture and the native ecosystem that shapes its wines.
The design combines botanical elements and local species with a bold, contemporary graphic language influenced by urban aesthetics. Rather than depicting nature literally, the project transforms it into a distinctive visual system that gives each label a strong identity while keeping the collection cohesive.
Expressive compositions, refined typography, and a restrained color palette reinforce the balance between organic forms and graphic precision. The result is a packaging system that celebrates biodiversity as a defining part of the winery’s philosophy, expressing the authenticity of wines born from a living landscape. Myria turns the surrounding environment into the central element of the brand, creating a memorable identity that connects sustainability, place, and contemporary design.
