Limin – 5% alcohol Cider Bottle and Box

The Brief Behind the Bottle

Limin Cider entered a category full of predictable ideas: orchard imagery, rustic type, and a language of “craft” that has become a cliché. The challenge was to build a brand identity, packaging system, and lifestyle world from something more original: a pear farm founded in 1888 in Skåne, Sweden, and a philosophy strong enough to carry a beverage brand, a gifting system, and a clothing capsule under one idea. That root became a fruit few packaging designers have used before: the pear.

Packaging Architecture

The hardest part of the project wasn’t the label. It was the structure. Limin needed a packaging system that could hold together across two different products and several retail settings, without losing consistency.

The system was built around two SKUs, a low-alcohol 0.3% version and a 5% version, each carried through a full, scalable structure:

Every format works as part of one system. Whether Limin is sold as a single bottle, a case of eight, or a gift bag, the pear motif, the color logic, and the overall restraint stay consistent.

The gold foil on the gift set and gift bag is a deliberate exception to the “sustainable minimalism” common in this category. Instead of pretending every material choice is environmentally driven, the foil is used honestly, as a sign of occasion and elevated gifting, set against the otherwise simple, soft-toned system.
