Packaging for a Collectible Rum

About the project

Rum “Mar del Oro” is a collectible created by blending legends, the history of maritime expeditions, and the aesthetics of Spanish treasures.

The task was to create a packaging design for a collectible rum that highlights its uniqueness and premium quality, making it an ideal gift with a rich history.

Solution

We have created a visual concept inspired by pirate legends, treasure hunts, and sea routes, designed to turn pouring the bottle into a ritual.

• The wooden case with velvet lining transforms the bottle into a true collector’s artifact. It protects the rum, elevates the gifting experience, and makes every unboxing feel like uncovering a treasure.

• The map on the label is a reference to the search for treasure. It indicates the way to the “sea of gold” hidden in each bottle.

• The title font is inspired by royal inscriptions found on 16th-century maps. The combination of antique and modern elements creates the perfect balance between historical charm and a premium feel.

• Each color is chosen not by chance – it reinforces associations with the luxury, history and romance of the seas.

The final design conveys a premium feel and reflects the rich story behind the product.
