Italian Pilsner | Bella Roma × Nemesis × Gypsy Ants
Some places are defined by more than what they serve. Bella Roma is one of them. Inspired by Italian tradition, the pizzeria creates an experience where good food, shared moments, and the ritual of gathering around the table become the true essence of the brand.
This limited-edition craft beer was born from that same philosophy through a collaboration between Bella Roma, Nemesis Brewery, and Gypsy Ants. As Bella Roma describes it, the project emerged from the desire to keep creating products that embody its spirit: sharing, enjoying great pizza, and raising a glass among friends. Rooted in Italian culture, the choice of style felt inevitable, an Italian Pilsner, known for its elegant, balanced, and refreshingly subtle character.
The label design translates that identity into a visual narrative. In Italy, neighborhood shops and botteghe are more than commercial spaces; they are symbols of tradition, familiarity, and human connection. Inspired by this idea, Bella Roma’s facade becomes the central element of the composition, serving as an iconic representation of the place where the story begins.
The visual identity is built around simplicity and balance. A light color palette reflects the beer’s golden appearance while helping consumers intuitively recognize the style before even tasting it. At the same time, the graphic language draws inspiration from Italian visual culture and Bella Roma’s own identity, creating a cohesive dialogue between the venue, the brand, and the packaging.
Every design decision aims to express the same character found in the beer itself: refined, approachable, and quietly distinctive. Its smooth and balanced tasting notes are prominently featured at the top of the label, completing a package that does more than identify the product, it tells the story of its origin.
