OLIVERA — Inspired by the Origins of Olive Oil
The concept for OLIVERA was born from a journey back to the ancient Mediterranean — to the world of Ancient Greece, where the olive tree was deeply connected to culture, craftsmanship, prosperity, and everyday life.
Since the ancient Greeks were among the civilizations that cultivated olive trees and produced olive oil, we wanted to reconnect the brand with this rich historical heritage. Instead of simply creating a premium olive oil package, our goal was to transform the bottle into a visual tribute to the origins of olive oil culture.
The central idea was to make the bottle feel almost like a sculptural object from antiquity. The glass bottle represents the precious liquid itself — pure, timeless, and protected like an ancient artifact. Around it, we introduced a flowing piece of fabric inspired by the draped garments of Ancient Greece. The natural folds and soft movement of the textile create an elegant, human touch while visually referencing the classical silhouettes of Greek clothing.
The choice of glass, natural fabric, rope, olive branches, and marble was intentional. Each material carries a connection to the Mediterranean and to the visual language of antiquity.
Marble represents the monumental architecture and sculptural tradition of Ancient Greece.
Glass symbolizes purity, transparency, and the precious nature of the olive oil.
Natural fabric references the draped garments of ancient Greek culture, bringing softness and movement to the composition.
Golden rope adds a handcrafted, ceremonial detail, while also reinforcing the premium character of the brand.
And the olive branches and olives complete the story by connecting the object directly to the source of the product.
The composition is placed on a classical architectural column, turning the product into something more than packaging — almost a contemporary artifact displayed in a museum.
Through this visual language, OLIVERA connects the past with the present: ancient olive-growing traditions are reinterpreted through contemporary premium packaging and art direction.
The result is a brand identity that feels timeless, Mediterranean, sophisticated, and deeply rooted in history — where every material, texture, and detail contributes to the story of olive oil.
